I am the current president of AlbertACHI, which is one of the home inspection associations in Alberta, Canada. At our yearly Annual General Meeting we have different presentors that speak about different aspects in the inspection industry, but we thought that we would change things up a bit and had Taylor Temple from Mind and Body by Temple do a presentation. I know you are thinking what would a personal trainer/coach have to say to a room full of home Inspectors. Well let me tell you that Inspectors have to do all kinds of things from crawling around in tight crawl spaces, climb ladders to get into attics and on to roofs. So we need to be in shape and know how to be flexible to complete our job. That's where Taylor comes into it, she presented to our membership about nutrition, stretching and strength training. These are all things that as Inspectors we tend to forget and not follow thru on, this increasing the risk of injuries and if we get hurt with an injury we could be for a long time and that means not making any money. Taylor took the hands on approach and had our members actually doing some of the stretching that could prevent us from getting hurt and she also walked us thru the importance of what we eat and drink during the day to keep us going without putting strain on our bodies. Taylor was very knowledgeable when it came to all the aspects of nutrition, stretching, strength training and our bodies are a whole. Taylor was well spoken and answered everyone of out questions that our members ask, we would not hesitate about asking Taylor to attend another one of our AGM's. We even talked about setting up a program for members so they can keep on things throughout the year. Each associate will complete a Health Par-Q and assessment form, ensuring that workouts are tailored to individual needs. To further support healthier daily choices, we provide Health & Wellness pamphlets. For an added fee, personalized workouts and in-person one-on-one personal training sessions are available.

For remote employees, our sessions are recorded and streamed online via a secure, private account.
