As women there is an expectation of having visually appealing feet. More often than not, we force our feet into uncomfortable shoes to turn up our sex appeal. Here is a picture of a client’s feet. She has worn heels for years and her feet’s natural position reflects that.
As seen in the photo, her feet’s natural position is curled toes – indicates a muscle imbalance from years of wearing high heels. Over time the muscles in her feet reached their biological limits creating the imbalance.
How do you think this has impacted her balance & coordination?
Feet are our body’s foundation, providing our body with stability and base of support.
If your client or yourself is struggling with balance – you may want to assess their feet.
Feet health plays a role in our balance, posture and workouts.
Solution: Toe spacers are a great tool to help reverse curled toes. Sitting at your desk or cooking in the kitchen combined with feet strengthening exercises. Overtime this will train your toes and feet back into a healthy, stable position. Healthy feet matter!
